He Gave ... We GIVE

GIVING IS AT THE HEART OF THE GOSPEL

OWNERSHIP: God owns it all yet gave it all. We are to manage what God has placed in our care. Ps. 24:1, 2 Cor. 8:9

GROWTH: When a person is changed by the Gospel, there is a desire to start giving, then give consistently, and continue to grow in their giving. 2 Cor. 8:1-5

GRATITUDE: For the person growing in Christ, giving becomes a “get to” not a “have to.” We are excited that we get to give. 2 Cor. 9:6-7

PRIORITIES: We all have financial priorities and we’re called to manage those resources well. For the person growing in Christ, honoring God with their giving becomes the first priority. Giving protects our hearts,

affirms our values, and blesses others. Matt. 6:19-24

LEGACY: He gave, and because we want to become like him, we give. 2 Cor. 8:9
